These tires are amazing. They are the stock oem tire that came on my 2018 WRX STi. These tires are definitely a softer compound tire, and will still get you through till november even at freezing temperatures and light flurries if need be. These tires are very forgiving when cornering at high speeds and are great for country backroads or high speeds . They give an overall above average grip in the dry on windy roads, but this tire's specialty is rain! These things when new up until a year old can get through any amount of rain and driving as if its dry. Again spirited driving is a breeze in the rain around corners. The only drawback which is not a complaint, but a compromise for tires that perform so well in cold weather or cooler weather when raining is the tire's life expectancy. Expect 1.8-2 years max. overall i must give these tires a 5 out of 5 especially for the price point. I have tried many different tires and none have performed as well as these tires in the rain. Definitely a fan of yokohama again after this set. Next I will try the more aggresive softer compound tire the Yokohama Advan AD08R.
