Overview

Born on the track, the Eagle F1 Supercar 3R is Goodyear's Street-Ready Track & Competition tire originally developed for the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE and engineered to deliver world-class handling, racing-worthy levels of traction and ever faster laps. Like all summer tires, the Eagle F1 Supercar 3R is not intended to be serviced, stored or driven in freezing temperatures, in snow let alone on ice. Using polymers and resins previously only used in racing slicks, the Eagle F1 Supercar 3R's tread compound was selected from several iterations after extensive on-track evaluation. The asymmetric pattern and geometry of the massive outer tread shoulder was optimized by computer modeling before track testing could determined the final design, in order to provide extreme levels of lateral grip. Rigid, serrated center ribs provide responsive, precise steering and longitudinal traction. The side notches and circumferential grooves facilitate traction on wet ground.
