Created by German technology, Continental's CROSSCONTACT RX CONTISEAL's tread was design was specially made to reduce road noises and provide a smooth and quiet driving experience. The tread features tight blocks that reduce sound and incorporates siping for added grip on wet surfaces. Its siped center rib ensures a continuous stability and grip while at higher speed. The CROSSCONTACT RX CONTISEAL delivers enhanced braking distances on wet road surfaces and extremely reliable overall performances. The CROSSCONTACT RX CONTISEAL incorporates CONTISEAL Technology which covers the interior tread of a thick viscous natural rubber that prevents air from leaking out in the event of a tire puncture. This technology can prevent up to 85% of punctures caused by foreign objects such as nails or screws.
