Road hazard protection : what exactly is it?
It's coverage automatically included with the purchase of 4 new tires from eligible brands from Quattro tires, at no extra cost, with no activation required.
This coverage protects you when an unexpected road event renders your tire inoperable during normal use on Canadian roads.
A road hazard is any sudden damage caused by road conditions, for example:
- A nail or screw embedded in the tire
- A shard of glass or sharp debris
- A pothole or sudden impact
If your tire is damaged, the Quattro tires team takes care of the repair or replacement.

Repair up to $30 or replacement up to $400 based on the purchase value.
Valid for 24 months
Coverage active from the date of purchase, for up to 24 months.

What does the protection cover?
Coverage applies to damage caused by road hazards during normal use. Here is what is included and what is excluded.
Covered
Repair of the damaged tire
- Reimbursement of repair costs up to $30 taxes included. *See terms and conditions.
Replacement of non-repairable tire
- Tire replacement up to $400 taxes included.
- Year 1:
- Reimbursement of up to 100% of the original purchase price of the tire, up to a maximum of $400 taxes included.
- Applicable if the tire shows a maximum wear of 2/32" (1.6mm)*
- Year 2:
- Reimbursement of up to 50% of the original purchase price of the tire, up to a maximum of $200 taxes included.
- Applicable if the tire shows a maximum wear of 4/32" (3.2mm)
Not covered
*The reimbursement amount cannot exceed the tire cost shown on the original invoice, nor the $400 maximum. If wear exceeds 2/32" in Year 1, the warranty will be calculated on a pro-rata basis under Year 2 terms. Following an approved claim, coverage ends immediately.
What are the conditions of application?
For coverage to apply, your purchase must meet the following conditions.
- Eligible purchase: 4 new tires of an eligible brand
- Coverage duration: 24 months from the date of purchase
- Number of claims: 1 claim for 1 tire per purchase of 4 tires
- Maximum reimbursement: $30 taxes included (repair) or $400 taxes included (replacement)
- Transferability : Non-transferable

How to file a claim?
Important: In case of damage, it is very important to keep your damaged tire. In some cases, we will require its return for inspection and verification. Any repair or replacement carried out before opening a file will result in automatic denial.
Then follow these steps in order.

Contact Quattro tires first
Call 1-844-778-2887 before any repair or replacement. Have your original invoice number on hand.

Open a claim file
A representative will assess your situation and determine whether the tire can be repaired or needs to be replaced. An affiliated garage may be suggested.

Repair or replacement
If repairable: have the tire repaired at the garage (max $30 taxes included).
If not repairable: purchase an identical tire or its successor model under the terms agreed upon with Quattro tires. -
Return the damaged tire (if replacement)
In the event of a replacement, you must return the damaged tire to Quattro tires for inspection and eligibility verification.

Reimbursement
Once the claim is approved, you will receive a reimbursement equal to the cost of the tire on the original invoice, up to the applicable maximum amount based on the purchase date and tire wear (taxes included, excluding environmental fees).

Is the protection included or optional?
It is automatically included, at no extra cost, with the purchase of 4 new tires from eligible brands* from Quattro tires. No further steps are required to activate it.
What should I do if my tire is damaged?
Contact our customer service at 1-844-778-2887 before any repair or replacement* in order to open a claim file.
Any repair and/or replacement carried out before a file is opened will result in automatic denial.
How many claims can I make?
Only one claim is allowed, for one tire, per purchase of 4 eligible tires. Once a claim is approved, coverage ends immediately for that invoice.
How long does it take to process a claim?
Processing times vary depending on the nature of the file and the receipt of required information. Once all documents have been received and, if applicable, the tire has been inspected, the claim is generally processed within a few business days.
I just bought my tires and I already have a nail in one. Am I covered?
Yes, it can happen. Even a brand-new tire can be damaged by a road hazard (nail, pothole, debris, etc.) within the first few kilometres. That's exactly what this protection is for.
Are garage fees covered?
No. Only the cost of the tire, including applicable taxes, is reimbursed up to the maximum amount provided. Installation, balancing, alignment, delivery, towing fees and environmental taxes are excluded.
What happens if the tire model I purchased is no longer available?
If the tire model shown on your original invoice is no longer available, a reimbursement will be issued instead, in accordance with the terms of the coverage. An agent can also assist you in choosing a similar model to replace the damaged tire.
